The desert is a beautiful and wild place that can’t be tamed or owned. It is a place of beauty and mystery where the winds carry you away and you can remake yourself a hundred times over. It’s a force of nature that is constantly changing and evolving with you and around you. The desert forced me to abandon the trappings of my civilized live. Yes, the desert leaves a mark on everyone who visits. I am taking off layer after layer of my well-known habits and familiar culture while embracing the vastness and magic of the Sahara.
