Let’s seriously revisit what we put daily on our plates!

CNN's Sandee LaMotte has written an excellent review of a scientific study on pesticides in US produce, including pesticide use legally allowed by food regulations.

The article notes "clinical trials have found people who moved to organic foods saw "rapid and dramatic reductions" in the levels of pesticides" they emit.

And the short take on the difference between what's allowed in and on food between the US and other countries like in Europe shows what's possible.

So which and how many chemicals should be allowed in our food? We strongly believe in ZERO pesticides and believe organic food should be the standard, and affordable to everyone - pesticides have nothing to do in our food chain!

Articles like this are so important - as we each learn more, we can decide whether organic makes sense for us and our families, and consider whether we'd like our elected representatives to do more for the health and well-being of us and our communities.
