‘What’s Love and the ‘Lotus Sutra’ Got To Do With It?’
Tina Turner’s life and musical path are very impressive and a daily reminder that we all are on our life journey individually and as whole. Her recorded version of the Buddhist ‘Lotus Sutra’ gives us an idea of her transformation in her life while watching her encouraging her fans to embark on their own life journey – consciously.
Yes, our 7minutesonline team does listen to Tina Turner‘s songs some of us know from the 70’s and 80’s, but we are also following her closely on her Buddhist musical path and adventure and are enjoying her recorded meditations frequently. She has teamed up with Regula Curti and Dechen Shak-Dagsay – the three ladies are a power house and have produced several albums which are rather out of the ordinary and a delight to listen to should one be interested and in the mood for meditative sounds and inspiring Buddhist lyrics.
Have a look and listen to Tina Turner’s ‘Lotus Sutra’, ‘Beyond’ and Nam Myoho Renge Kyo for your meditation, during Yoga practice and or just as a brief ‘escape’ to reset your mind and emotions.
