Singapore: Gardens by the Bay

Dear readers and fellow travelers, if ever you come to Singapore, Gardens by the Bay is the place to visit and discover.

You have the choice in between visiting the Flower garden dome, an impressive architectural structure home to an amazing variety of flowers of all kinds. You can marvel at orchids (which happen to be my favorite flowers) or at other native flowers.

Or you can step into the Cloud Forest (a second dome), a mysterious world veiled in mist. Take in breath-taking mountain views surrounded by diverse vegetation and amazing flowers. And learn about rare plants and their fast-disappearing environment.

The cloud forest is located right next to the flower dome, it is a suspended walkway tour in the middle of vibrant flora and fauna. IMGA0553.JPG

For a little bit of thrill check out the OCBC Skywalk, nestled among the giants of the Supertree grove, a group of massive artificial trees. The skywalk, 22 meters high gives you an amazing panoramic view of the sea, the Marina Bay Sands and the Marina Bay created by the Singapore dam. This 130-meter long aerial walkway is an experience not to be missed.
